Message from the Organizng Committee
Dear Excellencies and colleagues,
With a feeling of honor and pride for the valuable participation of all Delegates from different countries in the 4th ICMM Pan Asia Pacific Congress on Military Medicine, the Organizing Secretariat hereby, on behalf of all of the organizing teams, with apologies for inadvertent deficiencies, expresses its appreciation and gratitude for the attendance of every single international and Iranian participants and hopes that actions taken by the Organizing Committee have led to the satisfaction of you Distinguished Delegates.
We did our best to prepare the necessities of organizing the Congress with high quality and hope that our efforts have succeeded in providing a fruitful and enjoyable time for you.
We are collecting and preparing the Congress pictures and video clips which will be uploaded on the Congress website very soon.
In addition, the secretariat is still at your disposal for answering your questions and requests, and we are going to have good news regarding the scientific contents of the Congress.

Student Subcommittee Meeting
Regarding the importance of the 4th ICMM Pan-Asia Pacific Congress on Military Medicine, the first meeting of Student Subcommittee took place on Sunday, 22 April 2018, with the moderation of Dr. Mohammad Ali Momeni (Chairman of the Student Subcommittee) at the AJA University of Medical Sciences.

The 1st meeting of the Military Medicine Education and International Collaborations Committee
The first meeting of the Military Medicine Education and International Collaborations Committee was held at the faculty of Para medicine of AJA University of Medical Sciences on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
The session included familiarizing faculty members with the history of ICMM Pan Asia Pacific Congress on Military Medicine, determining the subthemes of the main topic, discussing the suggested titles for panels and workshops and roundtables, and the formation of the international federation for Military Medicine Education.
Five main themes of Military Medicine Education and International Collaborations were determined as follows:
The session included familiarizing faculty members with the history of ICMM Pan Asia Pacific Congress on Military Medicine, determining the subthemes of the main topic, discussing the suggested titles for panels and workshops and roundtables, and the formation of the international federation for Military Medicine Education.
Five main themes of Military Medicine Education and International Collaborations were determined as follows:
1. Responsive education and social accountability in military medicine.
2. Management and leadership in military medicine (knowledge management, scholarship, virtual education).
3. Curriculum planning and curriculum review in military medicine.
4. Globalization and internationalization of the sciences of military medicine.
5. Assessment and evaluation in the sciences of military medicine (program, faculty, student).

Disaster Management Committee
Disaster Management is one of the main topics of the 4th ICMM Pan Asia Pacific Congress on military medicine.
The main objective of the Committee is to present the recent operational achievements of armed forces in the field of Disaster Management and also pay considerable attention to the important role of armed forces in reducing risk and damage of disasters in communities in the form of the four modern cycle phases of Disaster Management.
The Committee was officially established in February 2018.
Other objectives include the role of armed forces in civilian disasters, maintaining the health system of armed forces, preparation of military hospitals to encounter natural and man-made disasters and also inter and intra-agency coordination in the management of disasters.
The committee has planned to organize workshops, roundtables, and comprehensive lectures by holding two formal and lots of other informal meetings.

Nursing Sub-Committee
The second meeting of Military Nursing Sub-Committee was held on March 13, 2018, at 8:00 to 10:00 A.M, in Faculty of Nursing, AJA University of Medical Sciences.
