The 1st meeting of the Military Medicine Education and International Collaborations Committee
The first meeting of the Military Medicine Education and International Collaborations Committee was held at the faculty of Para medicine of AJA University of Medical Sciences on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
The session included familiarizing faculty members with the history of ICMM Pan Asia Pacific Congress on Military Medicine, determining the subthemes of the main topic, discussing the suggested titles for panels and workshops and roundtables, and the formation of the international federation for Military Medicine Education.
Five main themes of Military Medicine Education and International Collaborations were determined as follows:

1. Responsive education and social accountability in military medicine.
2. Management and leadership in military medicine (knowledge management, scholarship, virtual education).
3. Curriculum planning and curriculum review in military medicine.
4. Globalization and internationalization of the sciences of military medicine.
5. Assessment and evaluation in the sciences of military medicine (program, faculty, student).
